The Autisms
Autism Home Base members are adults (18+) across the spectrum and their families . Together, we socialize, get active, explore common interests, share resources, build lifelong friendships and create our best lives.
Every human experiences the world differently. We are neurodiverse. Autism is a type of neurodiversity most often identified by behavioural and communication differences that set us apart in social situations and in life. Some, but not all of us, have challenges to traditional learning. Some, but not all, have mental wellness challenges. Some are highly independent, some need adaptive tools and strategies to be successful, some of us require complex care and supports.
Autism Home Base exists to help families and Autistic adults connect to a supportive community of peers.
