Happy Canada Day! |
Wow, July already! We want to reopen, believe me we really do. We had hoped to re-start our community outings for the Indies Meet Ups next week, but we just aren’t comfortable rushing it. And we need to wait for approval from the municipality of Clarington to open the hub, since they own the building. In the meantime, we are working on our re-opening plan to have new hygiene, social distancing and cleaning protocols in place. Over the next few weeks or so, as you watch the news and venture out in the community, please let us know if you see any good systems, signs and processes we could adopt. Thinking about you or the person in your family with the highest needs, what safety protocols would you/they follow? |

NEW! Program Supplies to you at Home Thanks for being resourceful with art, music and sports supplies and equipment for the Zoom programs at home. We are putting together Activity Bags chock full of tools you may need. These kits will be yours to keep and use at home or bring to the hub for programs because even when we’re back at the hub, we won’t be sharing tools and supplies for a long time. We’d like to give every family a kit for every program you participate in, but we’ll need to spread things around a bit. If you had to choose one kit to share among your family members, would you most prefer supplies and equipment for – ArtMusic Sports Please email [email protected] with your preferences. We were able to buy in bulk for cost efficiency and we applied for a grant to cover part of the costs of $75 – $100 each. However, if you have passport dollars would you consider purchasing a kit? |
